ANIMATION: DRIVING AT NIGHT

a short animation called "poetry-clip" focused on the use of typography. i wrote a short poem about the feeling of driving alone through the night, feeling blue and contemplaiting about life. the film was edited in FINAL CUT and the typography got visualised later in ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS.

Driving at Night

I’m feeling blue, so I drive at night.
No hindering traffic or policeman in sight.

No red lights or road works, stopping my way,
I’m musing over the things, which happened today.

Searching for answers and better ideas,
I’m pressing the pedal, while bursting in tears.

I’m heading forward and never look back,
Only the fortune is setting my track.

The stereo is playing my favourite tune,
I’m praising my friends and the crescent moon.

Waking up every morning I revive my fight,
But I’m finding peace, while driving at night!

The featured song is: Bertrand Burgalat - "Aux Cyclades Electronique".
