ANIMATION: TURBO

In September we finished the work on Level 1's new movie "TURBO". I did all the motion graphics for the movie including DVD menu, the intro with sponsor graphics, all the athletes titleing and end credits. The titleing is a custom made font based on the Bauhaus. I created a hole concept for the movie. A red-orange ribbon swirls through the frame, sometimes interacting with shown elements. When the ribbon flowes out of frame it creates the title of an athlete featured in the following segment.

Everything was created with Adobe Illustrator CS 3 and Adobe After Effects CS3.

Furthermore I was involved in compiling the soundtrack, premiere tour promotion and creating merchandise for the movie.
Turbo won several awards from German magazin "Skiing - The Next Level" including "Best Freestyle Movie", "Best Editing", "Best Urban" and "Best Soundtrack".
