PRINT: KLISCHEE: Untersuchung zu visuellen Stereotypen

This semester I took a typography class focusing on visual cliches. So we analyzed stereotypes in the music industry. Together with my colleagues Saskia Weiß and Chris Rau we choose two musicians for further inspections. Shania Twain and M.I.A.
Based on our study we created two fictional artists on our own: the metro-sexual country singer Johnny Wayne and a electronic experimentalist band from Chechnya/Germany called Nord*Ost. Here are some results from our work compiled in a 120 page strong documentary.
